The Sovereign Bolt New Alternative for Production Apps
Why Opsily?
Enterprise-grade infrastructure without the complexity
No More Usage-Based Shutdowns
Most AI-hosting platforms charge you based on tokens or computing credits that are hard to forecast. Ship uses a simple, flat-fee model based on the RAM and CPU your application actually uses. You will never wake up to a $1.9K/yr surprise bill just because your app went viral. We provide predictable costs for growing startups that need to manage a tight budget. Your app stays online 24/7 without you needing to pump more credits into a black box environment.
GDPR Compliance by Default
If you are building for the European market, data residency is not optional. Bolt.new and similar tools often host your data on US-based servers without granular control. Opsily hosts your Ship instances on secure infrastructure located within the EU. This ensures you meet strict GDPR standards from day one without hiring a compliance consultant. You own the data, you own the environment, and you decide exactly where your users' information lives.
Persistent State and Databases
AI builders are great at front-end logic, but they often struggle with long-term data persistence in a browser environment. When you deploy to Ship, you get a real containerized environment where your database state actually lasts. Connect your AI-built code to a managed PostgreSQL or Redis instance with a single click. Unlike serverless environments that suffer from cold starts, your Ship app is always warm and ready for the next request.

How It Works
Choose Your App
Select an app to get started.
Export Your Code
Download your project files from Bolt.new or push them directly to a GitHub repository. This gives you full ownership of the source code without any platform-specific dependencies. Ensure your package.json is configured for a standard Node.js or Vite environment.
Connect to Opsily
Link your GitHub account to the Opsily dashboard and select your repository. Our platform automatically detects your framework and prepares a Ship container optimized for your specific code base. No manual Docker configuration is required.
Set Environment Variables
Add your API keys, database credentials, and secrets directly into the Opsily secure vault. Unlike browser-based environments, these keys are stored safely on the server side and never exposed to the client. This is essential for secure production.
Go Live with Confidence
Hit deploy and watch your application launch on a dedicated URL. You can attach your own custom domain, set up SSL certificates with one click, and scale your resources as your user base grows. Your app is now a sovereign entity you control.

Frequently Asked Questions
The migration process is straightforward because Bolt.new generates standard Vite or React projects. First, click the download button or export to GitHub within the Bolt interface to get your source code. Next, create a new Ship instance in your Opsily dashboard and connect it to your repository. Our platform will detect the project structure and build the container automatically. You can then point your custom domain to the new Opsily IP address to go live.

We were paying per user on everything and it added up fast. Now we run five apps for less than one of those old plans. My finance team finally stopped asking questions.

Wanted to use n8n for ages but the self-host part always stopped me. Opsily just handled it. Got the power without becoming an IT person overnight.
