What Odoo.sh Costs

Odoo.sh pricing looks simple until you add everything up.

Workers are the core: $57.60 per month for a shared worker, or $480 for a dedicated one (minimum 4 required). Most small teams need 1-2 shared workers.

Storage is metered: $0.20 per gigabyte per month. A typical Odoo instance with data and attachments uses 50-200 GB, so budget $10-40/month.

Staging environments cost $18 each. Many teams run 2-3 for testing and development.

Example: 10-user company

• 1 shared worker: $57.60
• 100 GB storage: $20
• 1 staging environment: $18
• Subtotal: $95.60 + Odoo license ($600+)
• Total: $695-750/month

That is $8,400-9,000 per year before custom development or additional apps. For comparison, Cloudpepper runs 29-250 EUR/month plus server costs. Skysize starts at 35 EUR/month. OEC.sh is free, you pay the cloud provider directly.

Odoo.sh makes sense if you need enterprise-grade managed hosting integrated with GitHub. It does not make sense for small teams on a tight budget.

The Custom-Code Maintenance Fee Problem

Odoo.sh pricing page does not mention this, but if you deploy custom modules and ask Odoo to maintain them, you pay 12-16 EUR per 100 lines of code per month.

For a business with 500 lines of custom code, that is 60-80 EUR/month in additional fees. For 1,000 lines, it becomes 120-160 EUR/month.

This cost only applies if Odoo agrees to maintain your code, but it is a cost buyers rarely budget for. Many discover it after launch.

Competitors like Cloudpepper and Skysize do not advertise per-line fees. You pay a flat monthly rate for hosting, regardless of custom code.

This is why transparent pricing matters: you should know all costs before you commit, not discover them post-launch.
